DESCRIPTION
The Clara takes the same high 140cm headboard and full ottoman base and adds deep buttoning across the headboard. This is the double in beige chenille, measuring W154 x L201 x H140cm.
Deep buttoning pulls the padding into a regular pattern of dimples, which catches the light and gives the headboard a more traditional, upholstered look than a plain or line-detailed panel. The cover is chenille, soft to lean against and tough enough for daily use, and the frame stands on solid feet.
Gas struts take the weight of the base, so the whole mattress platform lifts in one movement and stays up on its own while you load or unload it. That gives you the full footprint of the bed as storage — spare duvets, winter bedding, suitcases, anything you would otherwise be finding room for in a wardrobe.
The base is boarded rather than slatted, which spreads the load evenly across the mattress and means nothing underneath can fall through onto the floor of the storage compartment.
