DESCRIPTION
The Fran bed pairs a winged headboard with a simple vertical line design and a full gas-lift ottoman base underneath. This is the double in grey chenille.
The winged sides of the headboard give it presence without the bulk of a buttoned design, and the line detailing keeps it looking contemporary rather than traditional. It sits on solid feet. It measures W159 x L208 x H130cm.
Gas struts take the weight of the base, so the whole mattress platform lifts in one movement and stays up on its own while you load or unload it. That gives you the full footprint of the bed as storage — spare duvets, winter bedding, suitcases, anything you would otherwise be finding room for in a wardrobe.
The base is boarded rather than slatted, which spreads the load evenly across the mattress and means nothing underneath can fall through onto the floor of the storage compartment.
